Georgian doctors spoke about the condition of Belarusians injured in the accident
After the horrific accident that occurred in Georgia on August 12, fifteen injured Belarusians were hospitalized. Georgian medics spoke about their condition.
Medical assistance to Belarusians is being provided in several clinics in Georgia. Four more injured people have been hospitalized in Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri hospitals. 11 people are in the Batumi Republican Hospital. Two patients have been hospitalized in the intensive care unit. There is no threat to their lives.
"Among the six children, one's condition was initially severe – the child was diagnosed with an epidural hemorrhage in the brain. Consequently, the child was urgently admitted to the intensive care unit. Now, their condition is being monitored dynamically. Fortunately, surgical intervention was not required.
Today, the condition of all patients remains stable. None of them have vital parameter impairments," noted Giorgi Kikabidze from Batumi Hospital.
According to the Ambassador of Belarus to Georgia, Nikolai Rogashchuk, the discharge of the first patients is likely as early as August 14.
The road accident involving a minibus transporting Belarusian citizens occurred on August 12 in the Georgian region of Guria.
There were 19 Belarusian citizens in the minibus. Four people died, and 15 received injuries of varying severity. Among the injured are six minors.
