F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes in Turkey

The pilot managed to eject, according to the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

The tragedy occurred in Yalova province on the coast of the Sea of Marmara, when the aircraft was conducting a training flight. The training aircraft crashed, followed by a powerful explosion.

Video of the incident is being published on social media.

Emergency services are working at the scene; the causes of the plane crash are being investigated.
