Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz discharged from hospital

After his condition improved, the 80-year-old hierarch underwent a new heart operation.

Archbishop-emeritus Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz has been discharged from the hospital in Minsk after a prolonged stay due to heart problems, writes katolik.life.

The esteemed hierarch had to be hospitalized after his well-being deteriorated.

The situation was serious, but doctors timely detected heart failure and prevented a new heart attack (the archbishop had previously suffered a heart attack).

After his condition improved, the 80-year-old hierarch underwent heart surgery: new stents were installed, and old ones were cleaned. This is a non-complex procedure on heart vessels, but at his age, it could pose a certain danger. However, the hierarch, for whom the faithful continue to pray, successfully underwent the operation.

He is currently undergoing rehabilitation.

In addition to heart problems, the esteemed hierarch has an oncological disease, the relapse of which he has been fighting for almost a year and a half.
