During the 'Minsk Triathlon — 2026' competition, held on July 25‑26, employees of the Belarusian Water Rescue Society assisted four participants in the swim, which took place at the Drozdy reservoir.

One of the participants raised her hand while in the water, signaling that she felt unwell. After she was brought to shore, ambulance medics diagnosed the woman with a hypertensive crisis.
Rescuers also helped three men. Two of them managed to signal themselves that they needed help. The third was no longer able to stay afloat on the water's surface.
As reported by Nika Bayalskaya, a representative of the Water Rescue Society, the man was on his back and experiencing cramps in his lower limbs. All those affected were promptly removed from the water and brought to shore, where they received necessary assistance.
