In Grodno, a teenager suffered burns when his father lit a barbecue

The incident occurred on July 14.

The man decided to add a flammable liquid. At the moment of the flash, the teenager approached the barbecue. As a result of the incident, the child suffered burns. The injured person was hospitalized in a moderate condition, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded that flashes of gasoline vapors, acetone, benzene, some alcohols, and ethers often cause fires, resulting in injuries to people. To avoid such situations, it is necessary to observe safety measures and teach children to do so.

Flammable liquids should not be used when lighting barbecues.
