Teenager working on a circular saw near Talachyn cut off his finger
In the Talachyn district, a 14-year-old teenager sustained a serious injury while working with a circular saw. The incident occurred on July 9th when the boy came to visit his grandmother with his mother.
According to information from the Investigative Committee, the teenager decided to make a wooden shelf himself. For this, he took a board and began to saw it with a circular saw. During operation, the tool suddenly slipped and injured his hand.
As a result of the accident, the boy sustained a traumatic amputation of the phalanx of his right index finger. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he received the necessary medical assistance.
Investigators once again remind about the necessity of strictly observing safety rules when using power tools, especially when used by minors.
