Houses for those on the waiting list will be built on the site of the former bus depot on Mayakovsky Street.
Another location for multi-story residential development has been identified in Minsk. Houses will appear on the territory of the former bus depot No. 2 on Mayakovsky Street. This was reported by Roman Melnik, head of the administration of the Lenin district.
Previously, all employees and transport from this branch were transferred to other depots in the city, so the liberated territory was decided to be used for housing. Currently, specialists are completing the design and awaiting the results of the state construction expertise.
There will be no commercial housing on this site. All apartments are intended exclusively for those registered with the district administration as needing improved housing conditions. Construction is planned to begin at the end of the year – in the fourth quarter of 2026.
