The band "Kasary" was formed in 2023 in Warsaw on the initiative of Belarusian musician and researcher of traditional culture Siarzhuk Douhushau. The group is dedicated to reviving the traditions of Belarusian male singing. The band's repertoire consists of camp (kasarsky), soldier, recruit, and lyrical songs from Belarusian folk music heritage.

Specifically for their performance at the festival, the group diversified the arrangements of recruit and feast songs with an electronic component, making them sound even more atmospheric. The Warsaw audience warmly welcomed the Belarusian musicians.

Along with the Belarusians, on the final day of the competition, May 22, the festival stage featured performances by the band Piąty Żywioł, which works at the intersection of folk and jazz; the minimalist-avant-garde duo Braty; the group Etersoul with an improvisational ethno-jazz combination of clarinet and electric guitar; and Pavel Ploskaň, in whose hands the hurdy-gurdy acquired an elevated progressive-psychedelic sound.

According to the competition results, the band "Kasary" was awarded the special Jedynka prize. The Grand Prix of the festival went to Polish multi-instrumentalist Karolina Matuszkiewicz.
