Collection of Ales Razanau's works published in German and Italian translations
The Italian publishing house WriteUp has released Sumus ne simus, a collection of selected poetry by Ales Razanau. The collection includes Belarusian originals of the poems and their translations into Italian and German. A whole team of authors worked on the translations, including Maya Halavanava and Thomas Weiler, who also acted as editors and compilers of the book, writes Bellit.info.

"Many thanks to WriteUp publishing house and the Fischer Foundation for supporting the project, to Uliana Veryna for her thorough preface to the volume, to Alessandro Aquili for listening and patiently reading the Italian texts, and to the entire Collegium of the Contesto series," shares translator Maya Halavanava.
The author of the cover illustration is Sviatlana Dzemidovich.
As noted in the publisher's annotation, the book was born from the deep desire of its compilers to carry the universal voice of poet Ales Razanau beyond any borders.
In 2024, the publishing series Contesto published a book of translations into Italian of Belarusian poetry from recent decades — Il mondo è finito e noi invece no: Antologia di poesia bielorussa del XXI secolo ("The World Has Ended, But We Have Not: Anthology of 21st Century Belarusian Poetry").
