Runaway Parrot Traveled for a Week Near Minsk, Fed on Garlic, But Returned
A story with a happy ending happened to a parrot named Stesza, who disappeared a week ago from its owners in the Lahojsk district. The bird's owner announced the return of her beloved pet home on her account.

Stesza's journey turned out to be extensive: the bird made a tour along the route Vyacha reservoir — Minsk microdistrict Zialiony Luh — Ždanovičy. It was the community in Ždanovičy that became the final point of its escape.
In the morning, local residents called the owners and reported that the bird they were looking for was spotted in a garden, where it was eagerly eating cherries and garlic.
After several hours of searching, Stesza was successfully found and caught.
The bird was exhausted and hungry, but now it is home, in warmth and peace.
“Words cannot describe how grateful we are to everyone who responded and believed! Once again, I am convinced that when difficulties arise in life, the main thing is to keep faith and a good heart,” wrote Stesza’s owner.
