BATE head coach Artem Kantsevy has left the team. As reported by source football.by, the specialist has left the BATE base and said goodbye to the team's players.
"Everything will be on the official BATE website tomorrow. For now, no comments," Kantsevy said.
After 11 rounds, the club with 9 points occupies 14th place in the standings (out of 16 clubs in the top league, 30 rounds are played), only one point ahead of Dnepr, which is in 15th place.
According to the regulations, teams finishing 15th and 16th leave the top league at the end of the season, while the club finishing 14th plays in play-off matches.
This season, BATE has one win, six draws, and four losses in 11 games, with the club drawing its last five matches. However, BATE won the national Cup and will play in the Conference League qualification.
From 2006 to 2018, BATE was the unchanging champion of the country, then finished second for three seasons, took 5th place in 2023, 8th in 2024, and 10th in 2025.
