Belarusian Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets announced on the STB TV channel that in 2026, applicants should expect an increase in admission scores for Belarusian universities.

This is due to the increased number of graduates who scored 100 points on exams this year, and the average results for all subjects improved by approximately two to three points.
According to the minister, this situation indicates that competition for higher education institutions will be higher, and better results will be required for admission to popular specialties.
At the same time, in 2026, the number of state-funded places in Belarus increased by more than three thousand. Additional places will appear primarily in medical, economic, engineering, and agro-industrial specialties, as these areas are currently considered the most in-demand in the economy and society.
