Red carpet, luxurious outfits, rain, and free mojitos. How the BSU Lyceum graduation went PHOTOS
Graduates started gathering here several hours before the beginning of the celebration itself. This year, 263 lyceum students received their certificates. Almost half of them will receive their well-deserved gold and silver medals.

A little more about the students' knowledge level in numbers: 58 of them scored 100 points on the Centralized Exam in various subjects, and seven people repeated this fantastic result twice, writes Onliner.by.

At the entrance to the lyceum, all guests are greeted by an impressive red carpet. However, the rain has its own plans for this evening, so the main event unfolds in the hall. Graduates began gathering here several hours before the start of the celebration itself.

The entire decor is done in lavender and beige tones. The gowns, in which the graduates proudly pose for photos, are also a vibrant purple color.
There are several photo zones, but queues still form for them: everyone wants to take as many memorable photos as possible.

Guests are treated to non-alcoholic mojitos — an idea that caught on from last year — as well as coffee and tea. But graduates still need to find a moment for drinks. Some are rehearsing the waltz, while others are practicing their speech. Plus, they need to make time to see all their new classmates — friends are not stingy with compliments today.

One of the main questions is, where next? The vast majority, of course, name BSU, with the exception of those who are going to medical universities.
"300 points in reserve is a good mood booster"
It seems Pasha might be vying for the title of the tallest graduate in the lyceum. But that's not his only "title" — today he is to receive a gold medal.
— We've been waiting for this day for two years, but it still doesn't feel like it has arrived, — the young man shares his emotions with restraint.

His parents, however, look much more excited:
— There's a feeling of pride for our son, who persistently worked towards such a result. We helped in some ways, but nevertheless, he achieved his goals himself.
By the way, about goals: Pasha plans to enter the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

Taisia, Yana, and Kira see themselves as future economists, but for now — students, in 99.9% completion mode.

— To be honest, nothing is clear yet, everyone is running somewhere, taking pictures. I think we'll sort out our feelings closer to the official part. For now, it's all anticipation, — notes Kira.
— Yes, not at all stressful, because we wanted this day to come sooner, to see everyone so beautiful, dressed up, and finally celebrate our graduation, — adds Yana.

It's clear that the girls thought through their looks down to the smallest detail.
— I started looking for a dress first. I chose it back in autumn. Then every month I added something else to the look — a handbag, jewelry. But some tasks, of course, still remained for the last moment, — smiles Taisia.
But Kira handled the task quickly — she chose the very first dress she tried on.

By the way, the friends managed to find outfits at the same store. And they didn't show them to anyone until the celebration itself — only to each other.
Again, we decide to support the parents in this exciting moment and meet Yulia and her mother Vera.
— Such incredible beauty here! Emotions are simply overwhelming. I want to see everything, say hello to everyone. I really like the festive atmosphere. Everyone looks so beautiful! — Yulia emotionally describes this special day for her.
— And I, as a mother, naturally feel anxious. There's a sense of a significant stage ending and something completely new beginning. I have such a trembling mood. Our dad even prepared tissues just in case.

But anxiety is not the only feeling Yulia's parents will experience. Pride will definitely be added to the emotional cocktail: the graduate scored 100 points on two exams, plus her average certificate score is 10.0. 300 points in reserve significantly boosts one's mood. The girl hasn't yet decided on her faculty and specialty but is also considering economics.
While we can legitimately forget about serious matters for at least a day, we ask the graduate about her outfit:
— I think my situation is unusual because the dress was found on the first try. Then came the pleasant task of booking makeup and hair. Today, I felt a very pleasant sensation while getting ready, looking at my dress. I think girls will understand, — Yulia muses.

— I think this is the moment when you can feel like a princess, — adds Vera.
"It seems like graduation is my dream"
Our next new acquaintance is also Vera, who immediately tells us that she adores physics. Confirmation of this is her participation in the profile olympiad. And — spoiler — her desire to enter the Faculty of Physics (alternative options include the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics).

— I was very nervous when I was getting ready. I was worried that something would go wrong, my dress would fall apart, or my makeup would run. I did my makeup for about four hours! And I'm very curious to see how my classmates will look.
— Actually, it's sad to say goodbye to the lyceum. This place has become a home for me. So now a strong wave of emotions has hit me.

— I looked for a dress for a very long time. At first, I only wanted a burgundy one. But when I saw this one, it reminded me of the image of spring, a nymph. And I fell in love with it from the first second. I told my mom: I only want this one!
Our next interviewee, Maria, is also very excited. By the way, in the future, the girl plans to become a psychologist and help others cope with anxiety.
— I feel like I'm dreaming. We were just upstairs taking pictures in our gowns, and I had a distinct feeling that I was seeing graduation in a dream. I probably don't fully realize that I'm graduating and that it's happening right now.

Maria admits: she is very satisfied with her exam results, she can finally breathe a sigh of relief, so she is ready to truly relax at the celebration.
— I chose my outfit almost by accident. I found a model on Pinterest, changed the color a bit, and the model itself changed during the sewing process. Plus, I decided to add bright accents. I had flower earrings, and I also found a bracelet that perfectly matched them. That took a whole month, — the graduate smiles.

The two favorite colors of this year are pink and blue. And we tend to agree: there are indeed many dresses in delicate shades.

And again, before us is a wonderful trio: Daryna, Eva-Maria, and Yana.
— We feel very happy. Even the rain didn't spoil anything for us, — the girls say.

Like everyone else, our interviewees note that the exams went great. For example, Eva scored 100 in Russian and 99 in English (though she's still a bit sad about that). The girl plans to enter the Faculty of International Relations for Oriental Studies. Daryna and Yana both plan to go into medicine.
— This dress cost 20 rubles. My sister brought it to me, found it with discounts somewhere. And I added accessories later, — Yana recounts.
Eva, on the other hand, was inspired by the image of Princess Anastasia from the animated film of the same name — she immediately knew her dress would be dark blue.
We also manage to discuss the stereotype that young people don't wear heels. Today, only Yana is wearing wedges.

— We have low heels. We don't really welcome suffering. We don't wear anything higher than 8 centimeters, — Daryna notes.
— I wore high heels to the last call, fell a few times, so I won't repeat those mistakes, — Eva jokes.
We also meet our future colleagues — Alexey and Lyubov plan to enter the Faculty of Journalism. As you might guess, our interviewees' exams also went excellently. For example, Lyuba scored 100 points in Russian, and Lesha scored 93 in geography.

— There is no sad mood and feeling: how can it be, everything is ending. Because everything is so festive, solemn, and pleasant that you just want to rejoice and get positive emotions, — Lyuba notes.
— Everything is beautiful, delicious, atmospheric, — adds Lesha.
The festive atmosphere is also created by the looks of our heroes themselves.
— I chose the dress back in January. I couldn't find anything in stores for holidays. But I really liked this dress. I took the last one. Although it wasn't my size, I adjusted it to myself. Because I saw it and couldn't look at anything else.

For Alexey, the choice was a bit simpler — he matched the color of his suit to his date's outfit. They also chose the suit together.
A whole delegation gathered to support our next interviewee, Alexey. It turned out that his parents are also lyceum graduates — from 1998 and 1999, and his mother also works here as a teacher. Therefore, by her own admission, she felt a whole wave of emotions.

Lesha, on the other hand, is characterized by composure: he speaks about both the event itself and the exams with maximum calmness: "Everything is calm." Such a character will certainly come in handy in his future profession: the young man plans to connect his life with applied mathematics.
The only thing that made him nervous, even a little, was choosing a suit. He wanted to come in a more relaxed style, but during "negotiations" at a family council, they still decided to choose a classic.

"The dress is my mom's, from her student days"
Maria's look stands out strongly against the backdrop of luxurious evening gowns. Her mom is next to her, and everything falls into place: their style is subtly similar.

— The feelings are unusual. Strangely, the culmination of emotions was getting ready. You worry so much: how to prepare everything, look beautiful, what if some detail stands out. But when you get here, you finally relax. Everyone is family. And, of course, it's interesting to see how everyone dressed up — both the girls and the boys are real stunners.
— I really liked the live music at the entrance. A saxophone greeted us all. And these balloons! Everything looks so heartfelt, yet well thought out and professional.

As for her outfit, Masha had many options to choose from. What attracted her to this particular suit was not so much the dress as the jacket. And also the hint of Spanish motifs — it turned out very striking.
If you look closely, you can notice flowers on Maria's dress. And it seems this is no coincidence. The girl plans to enter the Faculty of Biology, particularly interested in bioengineering.

Another graduate named Masha during a photoshoot with her parents.
— I'm crying, and my husband is laughing, — her mother immediately responds.
— Nothing like that happened. Everything is business as usual: we grow, we mature, we finish school, we move on, — the father reflects seriously.

By the way, Maria also plans to apply to the Faculty of Biology.
From serious — to girlish.
— We searched for a long time. Very long! About two months before, we started to worry because everyone else had already bought theirs. We went to stores about ten times, trying on different options. But in the end, my daughter came up with the image herself, wanting it to be long, with a corset, and high heels were a must. For makeup, we went to the same makeup artist who did it for her 9th-grade graduation. We booked well in advance because the "slots" were disappearing very quickly.
We want to approach every graduate (and also express our admiration), but we have to restrain ourselves. Finally, we turn to a mother and daughter whose looks together resemble a balanced yin-yang. Meet Elena and Kira.

— This day has come! Hurray! We are very happy, — Elena laughs.
The 11th grade was traditionally intense. Kira's average certificate score is 9.9. Only one nine.

Therefore, it's not surprising that her energy went into preparing for exams, so the outfit issue was resolved in the last week. And they found an unusual solution: Kira is wearing a dress from her mother's student days. It had never been worn until now — it waited many years for its moment to shine. And it did.
We ask where the graduate plans to go? The student from the philological class plans to continue her in-depth study of languages.

Closer to 8:30 PM, the hall will empty — the main part of the evening begins. The touching part, with the urgent need to have several tissues at hand. But we will not peek at that personal moment. We will simply wish from afar: may everything come true.
