At the Kozlovichi checkpoint, a truck hit a 24-year-old logistics company employee

On the morning of May 25, a road traffic accident occurred on the territory of the Kozlovichi customs checkpoint, the Investigative Committee reports.

A 58-year-old driver of a road train — a Renault tractor unit with a semi-trailer — hit a 24-year-old specialist of a logistics company.

As a result of the accident, the young man sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.

A criminal case was initiated against the truck driver under Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules, which through negligence caused serious bodily harm).
