Rural thief from Lyubanshchyna went to force the Seversky Donets — only a year later relatives noticed he was gone
The fate of another Belarusian 'gentleman of fortune' who joined Putin's army has become known. Mikhail Ragalevich from near Lyuban was primarily known as a petty rural thief, a recidivist who stole everything he could get his hands on. His attempt to start a new life was unsuccessful.
Mikhail Ragalevich's brother started looking for him a couple of days ago. The brother admits he knows almost nothing, only the call sign and the contract signing time — "about a year ago" — as well as the direction. The Belarusian went to help the Russian army cross the Seversky Donets River.

As can be understood from Mikhail's social media — unsuccessfully. Because he didn't even manage to post his photos in military uniform, as other 'gentlemen of fortune' do who live for at least a couple of weeks.
Mikhail's last post on Odnoklassniki was made in April 2025.
What was Mikhail remembered for? He was born in 1986 in the village of Kanstantsinauka, Lyuban district, Minsk region.
Over four years — from 2010 to 2013 — he was convicted three times.
According to Belpol, his first conviction was in 2010: Part 2, Article 205 of the Criminal Code (theft committed repeatedly, or by a group, or with penetration into a dwelling). Ragalevich was given two years of home confinement ('home chemistry'), but he could not endure such a regime — as a result, in 2011, he received a year in a penal colony for evading punishment.
After his release from the penal colony, Mikhail again broke into a neighbor's house and again received Article 205. The court recognized him as a recidivist but only prescribed one and a half years of home confinement ('home chemistry').
As can be understood from the FSAN databases, Ragalevich officially did not work much in his life. There is only a record that in 2015 — after the trials — he tried his hand as a handyman in a collective farm near his place of residence.
