Former political prisoner Mikoła Dziadok has released the book "Stories from Pockets. Hrodna Maximum Security in Names and Faces". In the publication, the author recounts seven months of his stay in Hrodna prison, writes hrodna.life.

In particular, the book describes his stay in the so-called pockets — small solitary cells. "Solitary cells where people die all the time," the author adds.
At least several deaths are known to have occurred in Hrodna prison. Among the deceased is artist Aleś Puškin, who died in intensive care after being transferred from prison. According to Mikoła Dziadok, inmate Jaŭhien Šypuĺ was killed by cellmates in Hrodna prison.
According to Dziadok, the book includes fragments that he had not previously voiced in interviews or on his YouTube channel.
The activist also scheduled a book presentation, which will take place on May 31 in the Zolаk creative space in Vilnius. At the meeting, Dziadok will talk about the recruitment methods used by KGB agents in Hrodna prison.
The book was published by the Belarusian online library Kamunikat. The book was released in Belarusian and Russian.
