In Novogrudok, archaeologists have discovered a section of an 18th-century foundation.
In Navahrudak, archaeologists Natallia Pochobut and Leanid Kaliadinski, from the Department for the Conservation and Use of Archaeological Heritage of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, discovered a section of an 18th-century foundation made of boulder stone, with the inclusion of bricks from that time, reports the Institute of History of the NASB.

The object, recorded and described by archaeologists, is a fragment of the foundation of a brick windmill that was located in this area.

A part of a millstone was also found. It will be transferred to the funds of the Novogrudok Museum of Local Lore.
