Belarusian photographer Andrej Liankievich captured women’s choir Mizhrechcha (literally “interfluve”) who preserve unique singing traditions of Belarusian Paliessie.
The youngest singer is 55 years’ old, the oldest — 85. They are not pseudo-ethnic group as Bauranovsliye Babushki who participated in Eurovision Song Contest this year but real authentic singers of South Belarus.
Now, the women who have never been abroad are going to perform in Germany.
Mizhrechcha will sing in St.Elisabeth-Kirche, Invalidenstraße 3, 10115 in Berlin on October 1. The concert will start at 19:30.
They will also sing in Dresden in Dresdner Dreikönigskirche church. The additional information may be found here.
