The Saudi Arabia-led coalition vowed that the strikes "will not go unpunished," and late on the evening of October 7, it reported attacks on more than 80 Houthi military sites in four Yemeni provinces.
On the same day, Houthis attacked Aden International Airport with ballistic missiles and explosive-laden drones, Yemen's Ministry of Transport reported.
The attacks occurred amidst an intensification of hostilities between the Houthis and Yemeni government forces, who are supported by Saudi Arabia.
