At the Braslaw rescue station, employees of the Water Rescue Society helped two tourists from China whose boat was carried far from the shore by strong wind.

The incident occurred on the evening of July 12 on one of the lakes near Braslaw. The foreign guests were boating, but due to strong gusts of wind, they could not return to the recreation base on their own. Gradually, they were carried into open water, where they began to lose orientation.
After receiving the distress call, rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and found the boat. The tourists were taken aboard the boat and safely delivered to shore. They did not require medical assistance.
The Water Rescue Society reminds everyone that when recreating on the water, it is necessary to consider the weather and wind strength, especially when using small boats and other watercraft.
