Weather forecasters warned that unstable weather with rain, thunderstorms, and locally heavy downpours is expected in Belarus on the weekend, July 11 and 12.
On Saturday, the weather will be determined by an area of low atmospheric pressure and unstable air masses. Short-term rains will pass over most of the country, and in the afternoon, heavy downpours and thunderstorms are possible in some areas. Fog may thicken in places at night and in the morning. The wind will be variable, gusty during thunderstorms.
The air temperature at night will be from +9 to +15 degrees, in the afternoon - from +18 to +24 degrees.
On Sunday, the weather will be formed under the influence of atmospheric fronts and unstable air masses. Precipitation is expected in places at night, and in the afternoon, rains will cover most of the country. Heavy downpours and thunderstorms are again possible in some areas. Fog is also not excluded.
The wind will be from the north, with strong gusts during thunderstorms. At night, +9 to +16 degrees are expected, in the afternoon the air will warm up to +18...+24 degrees, and in the northern regions of the country - up to +26 degrees.
And later, according to Belgidromet forecasts, after a period of unstable weather, summer heat should return to Belarus.
