The cause of the recent fire in the center of Minsk has become known
The Investigative Committee named the cause of a major fire in a residential building at Lenin Street, 9 in Minsk.

«According to the results of the conducted inspection, it was established that the cause of the fire was a violation of fire safety requirements, including during the use of electrical networks and electrical appliances,» the Investigative Committee stated.
The fire broke out on the evening of June 28 on the attic floor and quickly spread, damaging the premises. As a result, property of state bodies, as well as individuals and legal entities, was destroyed and damaged. Preliminarily, the amount of damage is estimated at no less than 450 thousand rubles.

Regarding the incident, the Leninsky District Department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case for violating fire safety requirements, which inadvertently led to significant damage.
Investigators continue to ascertain all circumstances of the incident, including identifying individuals who may be involved in the fire's origin, as well as the final extent of the damage caused.
