In Soviet times, many children's camps and sanatoriums appeared in the vicinity of Minsk. However, not all of them managed to operate. For example, in the village of Novoye Pole, a large unfinished sanatorium, consisting of two buildings, has been empty for many years. Now, this brick, atmospheric property has been put up for auction, writes Realt.by.

The buildings of the planned, but never completed, health resort are located near the highway to Grodno and MKAD-2. It's about 30 kilometers from Minsk to these places.
The construction of the sanatorium (which includes the main and sleeping buildings) stopped back in the 1990s due to lack of funding. In the 2000s, the site became popular with airsoft players and graffiti artists. Now, the complex is on the balance sheet of the Haransky rural executive committee.

The area of the main building is 6700 square meters. The building itself, when viewed from above, resembles a three-pointed star. It was planned to have a swimming pool, a SPA area, and medical offices here. The construction readiness of this object is 51%.
The sleeping building is three times smaller, occupying 2100 square meters. It was supposed to house rooms for guests. As of today, its readiness is 69%.

In addition to the sanatorium, there is a land plot of about 4 hectares with a 30-year lease. The land can be used for the placement of sanatorium-resort treatment and wellness, recreation, sports, and tourism facilities. By the way, the places near the sanatorium are very picturesque. There is both a forest and a river.
The sanatorium can be purchased for 204 thousand rubles (about 70 thousand dollars). The bidding will take place electronically, and if there are applicants, it will be held on July 30.
