Belarusian speed skaters admitted to competitions in neutral status

The Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) has admitted Belarusian and Russian athletes to participate in the 2026/27 season tournaments in a neutral status.

Quotas for the participation of Belarus and Russia in competitions are set to the same number as those allocated to countries entering their first season under the ISU's auspices.

This decision was made due to the fact that both countries have been absent from international competitions for more than three years and did not have the opportunity to accumulate ranking points.
