The Ministry of Health reported on the situation with Belarusians injured as a result of the June 17 bus strike in the Bryansk region.
"This afternoon, two children who were undergoing treatment at the National Research Center for Pediatric Surgery are planned for discharge. Their condition is satisfactory, and they will be sent home to the Gomel region," the Ministry of Health reported.
According to Konstantin Drozdovsky, director of the National Research Center, the patients received all necessary high-tech medical care.
One child continues treatment at the National Research Center for Pediatric Surgery.
Two have been transferred to Minsk's 6th City Clinical Hospital and also continue treatment. Surgical operations were successful, and Belarusian doctors continue to provide all necessary medical care to the injured in full.
Regarding the adult casualty, his condition is assessed as stable, and the patient is confidently recovering.
It was previously reported that the situation with the bus strike would be discussed this evening at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
The incident involving the Belarusian bus occurred on June 17 in the Bryansk region. The bus was damaged, carrying children from the football team of Rechytsa Children and Youth Sports School №2, as well as students from a private dance studio. Russian authorities claimed that the strike was allegedly carried out by a Ukrainian drone.
As a result of the incident, a woman accompanying the group of children, who was the coach's wife, died. Eight other people, including six children, sustained injuries of varying severity. They were all immediately taken to Belarus.
