The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus has expanded the list of damaged coins eligible for exchange. Previously, they were considered invalid and not accepted for replacement, the press service reported.

Now, coins with worn-out areas, saw marks, through holes, and traces of metal removal can be exchanged, provided that their denomination and belonging to Belarusian banknotes can still be determined.
In addition, coins separated into a ring and a core, as well as reconnected ones, are eligible for replacement, even if their parts are not fully aligned.
At the same time, the National Bank clarified the requirements for reproducing banknote images. Henceforth, images of both sides of a banknote are allowed to be placed only on one side of a sheet.
Moreover, the size of the copy must be less than 75% or more than 125% of the size of the original banknote.
