"Before meeting someone, especially when heads of state meet, one needs to understand what the outcome will be. What can we piece together, forge, by meeting Donald Trump? So that people get an answer: well, they met, so what?" — said Alexander Lukashenka.
He noted that the meeting with Trump should discuss not only the issue of releasing political prisoners.
"We have embassy issues, we have economic and financial issues. We have many questions. These questions should be in one package. And as a result of the meeting of the two presidents, there should be, if not agreements, then at least hints at resolving these issues," — Lukashenka outlined the range of problems.
