On June 13, around 2 PM, a serious road traffic accident involving two passenger cars occurred on the 21st kilometer of the M-3 'Minsk — Vitebsk' highway in the Minsk District, reports the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

According to preliminary data, a 41-year-old driver of a BMW car, who was driving towards Minsk, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with an Audi car, driven by a 23-year-old man.

As a result of the strong collision, the BMW driver died at the scene of the accident. The Audi driver and his 27-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital for examination. Two other Audi passengers — aged 33 and 70 — were examined by medics at the scene.
