Ukrainian drones attacked Yaroslavl on the night of May 22. Due to the drones, the exit from the city towards Moscow was closed — the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and the South-Western Ring Road, writes "Meduza".
According to Mikhail Yevraev, head of the Yaroslavl region, the drone attack was repelled by air defense forces and electronic warfare systems, with no casualties. Yevraev urged residents not to approach the debris of downed drones and "not to use phones near them." Since October 2025, it has been forbidden in the region, under threat of fines, to publish photos of the consequences of drone attacks and air defense operations.
In Moscow, due to the danger of drones on the night of May 22, operations were restricted at all four airports — Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Sheremetyevo. By morning, the restrictions were lifted.
