Popular Korean noodles banned in Belarus

We are talking about the spicy instant noodles Samyang Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen Habanero Lime (often known as Buldak). From May 22, 2026, this product cannot be imported into Belarus or sold here.

The reason for the ban is that specialists found violations in the composition and labeling of the product. In particular, the food coloring riboflavin (E101) was used in the noodles, which was indicated in an unacceptable manner. In addition, the manufacturer did not specify the exact purpose of some additives — the same riboflavin and citric acid.

Due to these violations, the noodles were deemed non-compliant with requirements and their sale was banned in Belarus.
