According to Igor Sekreta, meetings with representatives of the West have been held regularly over the past year – both in the capitals of various countries and on international platforms. The negotiations involve heads of political departments and deputy ministers.
These meetings discuss a wide range of issues, such as politics and economy, sanctions and their consequences, as well as security issues.
Sekreta notes that during the discussions, the parties do not always agree, but continue to exchange positions and conduct dialogue.
As an example of contacts, he mentioned the recent telephone conversation between Alexander Lukashenka and Emmanuel Macron, which took place at the initiative of the French side and should provide impetus for further negotiations.
