Construction of the first object of the third ring road has begun in Minsk
On May 26, specialists began installing the span structures of the new overpass "Kalesnikava — Ratamskaya". It will connect the Kamyennaya Horka and Lyabyadziny microdistricts, as well as the Frunzenski and Central districts, running from Kalesnikava Street to Tsіmіrazyeva Street, reports the "First Information" TV channel. This will be the first object in the organization of the third city ring.

In total, the project envisages 13 spans: most of them will be about 33 meters long, and one will be shorter. The total length of the overpass will be approximately 282 meters. Work is already underway in an intensive mode, including around the clock. In the coming months, the main part of the spans is planned to be installed, after which the foundation and asphalt concrete pavement will be laid.

After the completion of this object, builders will undertake new projects: an overpass between Loshytsa and Serabranka, as well as a bridge connecting Kurasowshchyna and Malinawka. In the future, further development of the road network with new sections and connections between districts is also planned.
The main goal of these works is to relieve the Minsk Ring Road, reduce the number of traffic jams and emergency situations, especially during peak hours, and make traffic in the city more convenient.
