After a meeting of ministers within the NATO-Ukraine Council in Helsingborg, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha declared a turning point in the war and threats from Belarus.
"We are at a turning point in the war, and pressure on Russia is growing. Ukraine is holding its defense, and Russia's human resources are no longer a decisive advantage. I informed the allies about the growing threats from Belarus and called for appropriate actions, deterrence, and steps aimed at preventing Russia and Belarus from expanding aggression."
"Ukraine is no longer just asking for donations; we are a participant in security provision, a donor, and a partner, ready to share our experience with allies."
"Increased defense spending is a guarantee of peace, and I call on every NATO member to contribute to Ukraine's defense," the minister said.
Yesterday, Alexander Lukashenka stated that Belarus would only be "drawn into the war" with Ukraine if "aggression is committed" against its territory.
A monument to pilots Nichyparchyk and Kukanenka was erected near St. Sophia in Polotsk. But not even a plane of the model on which they died, but a Stalin-era airplane
