In Vitebsk, a woman beat her cohabitant to the first group of disability. How much did she get?
A 29-year-old resident of Vitebsk severely beat her 37-year-old cohabitant. The consequences of the beating were irreversible.

The couple lived together for two years, and almost all that time was accompanied by scandals and fights, writes "MogilevOnline". The woman regularly laid hands on the man; in 2025, she was even fined for hooliganism. The victim himself never reported to the police.
The incident occurred in July last year during another gathering with friends. After an argument, the man went to sleep in the next room, hoping to end the conflict. However, his cohabitant followed him and began to beat him: she inflicted at least six blows with her hands and feet to his head and body.
The man suffered a closed craniocerebral injury. After this, he developed a severe mental disorder, due to which doctors assigned him the first group of disability.
For intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm, the court sentenced her to 4 years of restriction of liberty with referral to an open-type correctional institution (the so-called "chemistry").
