Max Korzh announced a big concert in an unexpected location

Popular Belarusian singer Max Korzh announced that his big concert will take place in Bucharest, Romania on May 23, 2026.

The concert is scheduled to take place at the National Stadium, which has a standard capacity of 54,000 people. Tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, December 2nd.

It is somewhat surprising that Bucharest was chosen as the venue for Max Korzh's performance. Bucharest, and Romania in general, is not perceived as a center for the Belarusian, or even Ukrainian or Russian diaspora. However, it is possible that the calculation is based on the fact that many people from nearby Moldova and Ukraine, which have visa-free access to the European Union, will come to listen to Korzh.

It is also possible that after the scandalous concert Korzh had in Warsaw on August 9 this year, it is now not very easy for him to find a venue for his performance, and there is not much choice. In August, for example, his previously agreed concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan, fell through. Korzh himself confirmed that the reason for this was the bad behavior of his fans in Warsaw.
