Spain snatched victory from Belgium and advanced to the World Cup semi-finals
The Spanish national team became the second semi-finalist of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, defeating the Belgian team 2:1 in the quarter-finals. The match took place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, USA.

The scoring was opened in the 30th minute by Spanish midfielder Fabián Ruiz, who was first to the rebound after a shot by Dani Olmo and a save by Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Before the break, Belgium managed to equalize. In the 41st minute, Charles De Ketelaere headed in a cross from Timothy Castagne, forcing Spain to concede a goal for the first time in this tournament.
In the second half, the key moment was Thibaut Courtois' injury. The goalkeeper, who had saved his team several times, could not continue the match and was replaced in the 71st minute by Senne Lammens, for whom this was only his third match for the national team.
Mikel Merino secured the victory for the reigning European champions. In the 88th minute, Lammens failed to securely handle a long-range shot from Pau Cubarsí, and Merino was first to the rebound, sending the ball into the net.
In the World Cup semi-finals, Spain will face the French national team, who earlier defeated Morocco 2:0. The match will take place on July 14.
The other two semi-finalists will be determined after the matches Norway — England and Argentina — Switzerland.

Гульня выглядала зусім не такой бездакорнай як з Партугаліяй.
