Lithuanian border guards grounded four contraband drones from Belarus at once
On the night of Saturday, Lithuanian border guards conducted a unique operation, simultaneously intercepting four drones flying from the territory of Belarus in Druskininkai. This is the first time so many drones have been forcibly landed simultaneously in one place.

The incident occurred approximately 1 kilometer from the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. Border guards heard the characteristic sound of several aircraft in the darkness, and technical surveillance equipment simultaneously detected the aerial objects.
Border service officers promptly used anti-drone equipment, and all four quadcopters fell to the ground one after another. During a search operation in the wooded area, border guards found both the devices themselves and the cargo they were carrying.
As it turned out after counting at the outpost, smugglers tried to transport 5000 packs of cigarettes with Belarusian excise stamps to Lithuania. The value of this batch, including all taxes in Lithuania, amounts to more than 27.5 thousand euros.
