In Warsaw, an unknown man vandalized the LAS RĄK handmade heaven shop, whose owner a few days ago openly spoke out against anti-Ukrainian slogans during a memorial event for the victims of the Volyn tragedy.
After that incident, the shop became the target of a mass campaign of fake negative reviews online. Users left low ratings unrelated to the quality of goods or service. Many considered this an attempt to pressure the owner due to her civic stance.
Later, an unknown man broke into the shop premises, behaving aggressively, damaging the interior and destroying some handmade items. The incident was reported to the police. Law enforcement officers are reviewing surveillance camera footage and searching for the assailant.
After the incident, a fundraiser was organized to restore the shop and enhance security measures.
Despite the attack, the shop continues to operate. Its employees are engaged in charity: every week they prepare hundreds of sandwiches for the elderly, homeless, and others in difficult life situations. According to the owners, they distributed 256 sandwiches just last week.
