Trump announced that after Iran, he will focus on the war in Ukraine
After the completion of the operation in Iran and the conclusion of peace between Washington and Tehran, the White House will direct its efforts to halt the war between Russia and Ukraine, stated US President Donald Trump.

"Now that [the conflict in Iran] is over, we are going to focus on this. Let's see if we can resolve it," the American president said during a press conference at the G7 summit, which opened on Monday in Evian-les-Bains, France.
According to Trump, he had "very good" telephone conversations with the presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin, the day before.
"And I think, perhaps, we can do something on this issue as well. I really do think so. I believe that both [leaders] are open to it," the head of the White House stated.
He also said that during the Russian invasion, "twenty-five thousand people — mostly soldiers — are dying monthly." "And this should not be happening. But yesterday I had two very good conversations. We will discuss this further," Trump added.
On June 14, Putin called Trump to congratulate him on his 80th birthday, after which he spoke about the successes of the Russian army in Ukraine.
