Among others, the sanctions list includes JSC "Belarusian Oil Company" (BNC) and the joint limited liability company "Volat-Sanjiang", both linked to Alexander Lukashenka's regime.
For the first time, within the framework of restrictions against the Belarusian regime, a Chinese state-owned company linked to the production of Belarusian military products — China Space Sanjiang Group — has been sanctioned.
«China Space Sanjiang Group is a co-founder of Volat-Sanjiang JLLC and one of the two main partners of this joint venture. Volat-Sanjiang JLLC produces wheeled chassis for military equipment, including multiple launch rocket systems manufactured by MZKT. Thus, China Space Sanjiang Group supports Belarus's military-industrial complex by participating in the development and production of military technologies and equipment,» — this is how the European sanctions against this company are justified.
The 20th package also includes sanctions previously adopted against Russia, in particular trade measures, legal remedies, restrictions on cryptocurrencies, and restrictions on the provision of cybersecurity and tourism services.
A monument to pilots Nichyparchyk and Kukanenka was erected near St. Sophia in Polotsk. But not even a plane of the model on which they died, but a Stalin-era airplane
