Motorcyclist killed in accident in Shumilino district

A fatal road accident involving a motorcycle and a car occurred in the Shumilino district. The accident happened on October 4, at about 4 PM, on the R20 Vitebsk — Polotsk highway.

A 42-year-old man, who was driving a Honda motorcycle, collided with an Opel car during an overtaking maneuver. The car was driven by a 62-year-old driver.

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
