Zelenskyy announced an agreement on interceptor missiles for Patriot
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has agreed on the supply of a batch of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems. He announced this during a meeting with representatives and leaders of the Ukrainian community in the USA, writes "European Pravda".

Zelenskyy did not specify which country the agreement was reached with, but called it an important result for strengthening Ukrainian air defense.
According to him, it is about a "package of missiles" for Patriot systems.
"Today we agreed, I won't say with whom, on a package of missiles for Patriot systems. An important decision, very important. There is a result."
Earlier, after a meeting with US President Donald Trump, Zelenskyy said that the American leader was positive about granting Ukraine licenses for Patriot missiles. However, the US State Department later stated that a final decision on allowing Ukraine to produce such missiles had not yet been made.
As early as July 31, Trump, commenting on the possibility of allowing Ukraine to independently produce Patriot interceptor missiles, stated that the US should approach this issue very carefully.
