Zelenskyy announced the creation of the "Carpathian Eight" (C8) — a new association of countries. The association includes Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary.

Cooperation is to cover security, energy, logistics, cross-border economy, and support for local communities.

"This is a serious start to a movement that should bring our countries even closer and create another strong element of interaction at the EU level," the President of Ukraine said.
