A traditional poetry festival will be held in Rakutyoushchyna in a week
In 1911, the poet Maksim Bahdanovich spent the summer in Rakutyoushchyna, in the Maladzyechna region.
On July 25 (Saturday) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the traditional poetry and song festival "Rakutyouskaje Lieta" (Rakutyoushchyna Summer) will take place at the "Rakutyoushchyna Farmstead" branch of the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature.
In 1911, the poet Maksim Bahdanovich spent the summer in Rakutyoushchyna, in the Maladzyechna region.
The festival program includes:
— a musical program with the participation of the ensembles "Asaloda", "Bierazinochka", "Zhyvitsa";
— presentation of the collection "Sinyakryly Matyliok" (Blue-winged Butterfly);
— performances by writers;
— a fashion show by the National School of Beauty and Belarusian clothing designers;
— sale of books from "Akademkniha" and products by folk craftsmen;
— excursions and quests around the farmstead;
— a museum puppet theatre (batleyka) show based on the works of Pyotr Vasuchenka;
— raffle "Shchaslivaya Torba" (Lucky Bag);
— art platform "Palyetak" (Field);
— entertainment programs "Kvetkavyya Hadanni" (Flower Fortunetelling) and flower quiz "Vianok" (Wreath);
— interactive platform "Hrodnapolija" by the Grodno State Historical and Archaeological Museum.
