A carved bookcrossing stand with Ivan Melezh noticed in a Minsk park
In a park in Minsk's Zialiony Luh, on Hamarnik Street, a Threads user noticed an unusual structure – a bookcrossing stand. The author posted a video of the structure on the social network, writes Blizko.by.

The stand is a wooden gazebo with a small cabinet in the form of a rural house with carvings and a bench. The cabinet doors are glass with frames and close with a hook. Inside the cabinet are spacious wooden shelves for books. Succulents are planted nearby.
Above the nearby bench is a portrait of the Belarusian writer Ivan Melezh with his quote: "Language is a great national treasure. It cannot be disrespected, just as one cannot disrespect one's native people."
The installation operates as a bookcrossing point: anyone can open the cabinet, choose a book they like, and take it home. Or bring their own book that they no longer need.
