Z-blogger who called for general mobilization himself fled the front

Russian Z-blogger Yegor Guzenko, known by the call sign "Thirteenth", was declared wanted after he arbitrarily left his place of service. This was reported by journalist Denis Kazansky, who published an orientation notice stating that Guzenko is wanted for unauthorized abandonment of a military unit and evasion of military service duties.

On July 6, a message appeared on the blogger's Telegram channel stating that he "will be out of touch for about two weeks." The Ukrainian side announced its readiness to guarantee him a safe corridor and, if desired, the opportunity to continue service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Guzenko repeatedly criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin and advocated for general mobilization, as well as calling for an official declaration of war on Ukraine.

In autumn 2024, he was arrested on charges of using violence against a government official. To get out of the pre-trial detention center, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and was sent to war against Ukraine.

In April 2026, the blogger again criticized the Russian authorities — this time for mobile internet outages. After this, his channel reported that he had been sent on a so-called "meat assault."

In May, a video appeared online showing Guzenko intoxicated while on duty. In the recording, he admits to having consumed vodka and deceiving his commander. The blogger himself claimed that the video was taken earlier, and he attributed its spread to a conflict with the "Akhmat" unit. He also stated that he was not sent "to slaughter" and that the command takes his health condition into account when assigning service tasks.
