Russia launched an unprecedented strike on Ukraine: 90 missiles and 600 drones, Bila Tserkva hit by a ballistic 'Oreshnik'
On the night of May 24, Russian troops carried out one of the largest combined attacks on the territory of Ukraine, launching 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types.

The main direction of this powerful strike was Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.
According to official data from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 09:30, Ukrainian air defense shot down and suppressed with electronic warfare systems 604 enemy targets:
11 ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M' / S-400;
44 cruise missiles Kh-101 / 'Iskander-K' / 'Kalibr';
549 attack and reconnaissance UAVs.

Despite a high interception rate, large-scale consequences could not be avoided: hits were recorded for 16 missiles and 51 kamikaze drones at 54 different locations. Additionally, destruction and fires due to falling debris were recorded at 23 other sites.
Strike by a new ballistic missile
The head of the communications department of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed that during this attack on the city of Bila Tserkva (Kyiv Oblast), Russia launched a strike with a medium-range ballistic missile RS-26 'Rubezh' (also known as 'Oreshnik').
Currently, two deaths have been reported in Kyiv, and 56 people have been injured.
