The European Union added 16 individuals and 7 organizations to its sanctions lists. The restrictions concern those deemed responsible for the forced removal of Ukrainian children, their relocation, ideological indoctrination, militarized upbringing, and illegal adoption in Russia and the occupied territories.

Children's centers «Orlyonok», «Scarlet Sails», and «Smena», the DOSAAF center in Sevastopol, the Nakhimov Naval School, and the «Patriot» club in Crimea fell under sanctions. The heads of these institutions and some officials were also included in the lists.
The United Kingdom also expanded sanctions against individuals and organizations involved in the removal and ideological indoctrination of Ukrainian children, as well as against participants in Russian information campaigns. 85 individuals and legal entities were added to the sanctions lists. Among them are employees of the Agency for Social Design, including authors, translators, and operators involved in creating propaganda materials.
Additionally, the British government allocated 1.2 million pounds sterling for the search and return of Ukrainian children.
