In Belgium, a train collided with a school bus, there are fatalities
In the Belgian city of Buggenhout, a train collided with a school bus at a level crossing this morning, VRT News reports.

There are several fatalities; the exact number of victims and injured is not yet known.
The accident occurred at approximately 8 AM local time when the bus drove onto the crossing. According to Infrabel, the company responsible for railway infrastructure, the barriers were already closed at that moment, and the traffic light showed a red signal.
"We do not know how this accident could have happened," said an Infrabel representative.
Seven schoolchildren, the driver, and an escort were in the minibus. About 100 train passengers were evacuated and placed under the supervision of specialists. Police are working at the scene, and an accident reconstruction specialist is also expected to join the investigation.
