He reported this on Facebook, writes "European Pravda".
"I conveyed a message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Russian President. During our personal meeting in Armenia, he told me that he was ready to meet with Putin in any format. The answer is obvious: if the President of Ukraine is interested in a meeting, he should contact his Russian counterpart by phone," he said.
Separately, Fico positively assessed the idea of extending the ceasefire regime, stating that it could create space for diplomatic efforts and the negotiation process.
It should be noted that in the entourage of the head of the Russian Federation, they say that Fico did not convey any messages from the President of Ukraine to Putin during their conversation, although the topic of Ukraine was mentioned.
Fico arrived in Moscow on May 8 and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin. At the same time, he said that he is a kind of "black sheep" in the EU.
Before the visit, it was reported in Bratislava that Robert Fico intended to convey a "message" from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Kremlin's leader, and that he might receive "valuable information" from Putin on how he views efforts to end the war.
The Office of the President of Ukraine noted on this occasion that Zelensky told Fico at the meeting that Ukraine is ready to meet with the Russian Federation at the leader level in a substantive format.
A monument to pilots Nichyparchyk and Kukanenka was erected near St. Sophia in Polotsk. But not even a plane of the model on which they died, but a Stalin-era airplane
